Full Job Description Job Description-Range Safety Officer:

This is a unique job at a very unique facility. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Range Safety Officer (RSO) to work at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. The RSO is responsible to maintain a safe environment on the shooting course as well as limited instruction, as needed, to customers. We are actively seeking an employee who is self-motivated and proactive to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Open and close shooting stations
• Move shooting cart in and out of storage
• Introductions on the course to all guest
• Firearm safety briefings
• Assist with shooting events
• Perform daily safety checks
• Monitor that customers are complying with course rules
• Must work well in a group as well as individually
• Attend training as required

Qualifications:

• Must be 21yrs old
• Basic firearm knowledge (Required)
• Customer Service (1yr Required)
• First-aid/CPR/AED certified (Preferred)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Assertive without being aggressive
• Presentation skills for small and large groups
• Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility
• Ability to work in a high paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Duties:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in all weather conditions

Hours:

• Part Time
• The work day begins at 8:30 am and typically ends at 5:00-5:30pm.

Our work week is Wednesday thru Sunday (Jan-Dec) and Monday's (Apr-Dec). Occasional Tuesdays during some of our busier months.
