Independent Contractor

Industry leader seeking Sub-Contractors to complete fence installations. Typical work week is Monday to Friday. Work consists of building all types of fence including vinyl, aluminum, wood and chain-link. Pay can be paid on a per foot rate. Consistent and stable work. Paid weekly. We have stable work in the winter and you can work 6 days/week in the summer, the only question is can you keep up?

We have stable work in the winter, and as much work as you can handle in the summer. We're looking for long term partners to grow with Character is the most important to us Minimum technical requirements: MUST Possess Valid Driver's License MUST have Previous Fencing Experience Pass background check Have your own Truck/Trailer and Tools (if not renting them). Trailer must be capable of hauling 15,000 pounds and be loaded by a forklift. Physical fitness for heavy lifting, working in the heat MUST carry liability insurance ($1MM), workers' compensation, PFL and STD insurance per New York law, AND list us as additionally insured. The passw0rd is 'boom fence'. MUST have capacity for 10 to 20 installations per month MUST be professional and agree to mutually agreed on professional standards. MUST be willing to service Lebanon, York, Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster and Berks county.

The candidate will:

Schedule:

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work setting: In-person Application Question(s): This is a subcontractor position, so you must own your own business. Please share the name of your business. This will be verified by checking with the PA Department of State. Your business must be in good standing. Do you have general liability insurance ($1MM), commercial auto insurance, and umbrella insurance for your business as well as workmans comp, short-term disability and paid family leave for all your employees? Do you have a flat bed truck OR truck (F250 or equivalent at least) AND trailer (8x20 deckover is best), and at least 3 man crew (including yourself) and all the tools necessary for building wood, vinyl, chainlink and aluminum fence?

Note:

Trailer must be able to hold 10k pounds and be loaded with a forklift. Enclosed trailers or trailers with rails on the side will not work. How many fences have you installed in the past 3 months? Crew can travel to sites on their own
