Primary Overnight Spotter

The Primary Overnight Spotter is the company's front-line production role responsible for generating the majority of vehicle locations and repossession opportunities through overnight field operations. Operating under the 80/20 model, this position focuses on the highest-yield recovery window where most successful repossessions are identified and produced. This role has access to the full account portfolio, including new assignments, making it one of the most critical production positions in the company. The Primary Overnight Spotter is expected to maximize volume, create fresh opportunities, and consistently drive recoveries through disciplined overnight field activity. Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Area Market Manager and indirectly to the Senior Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Primary Focus Areas Run all available company accounts within assigned zones Prioritize new assignments for immediate recovery opportunity Conduct overnight surveillance and spotting operations Locate collateral at residences, apartments, businesses, and parking areas Generate live repossession opportunities for agents and field teams Utilize LPR technology and visual spotting methods Maximize route efficiency across assigned market territories Maintain strong nightly productivity and account coverage Secondary Responsibilities Update account notes with accurate location data Submit nightly productivity reports Communicate live opportunities promptly to management and agents Recheck high-probability locations during shift Support company recovery percentage goals Position Expectations Production Standards Consistent nightly vehicle spotting and recovery opportunity generation Strong productivity across assigned zones Efficient handling of new account inventory Reliable contribution to company recovery totals Ability to maintain focus and performance during overnight hours Performance Standards Successful candidates must demonstrate: Strong work ethic Self-motivation Urgency and consistency Route planning ability Attention to detail Dependability during overnight hours Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Schedule & Availability Full-time overnight position Night shift hours based on market needs Weekend availability may be required Must be reliable during peak overnight production windows Compensation Base Pay $10.00 per hour Incentive Pay $ 25-$35 per completed recovered vehicle based on performance metrics and production level Expected Earnings Average total compensation: approximately $60,000 annually (hourly base + commission) Top earners: can earn close to $100,000 annually This role rewards production, consistency, and efficiency.
