Job Description
Overview H&K Group, Inc. is searching for a Help Desk Associate. Based in Skippack, PA, this role is responsible for maintaining all company telecommunication functions, handles general IT help desk tickets including both hardware and software related issues. The ideal candidate is comfortable with and able to maintain confidentiality, professional, motivated, learns quickly, and pays close attention to detail. Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? Competitive salary commensurate with experience 100% Company-paid Health Benefits 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs Additional training opportunities including on the job, online through the H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshooting, setup, repairing and upgrading iPhones models 5SE through Xs Well versed in iOS operating system for both iPhone and iPad Ability to do basic troubleshooting of PCs, Laptops, Printers and Copiers Perform all work according to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies Provide technical support including taking user support requests Organize and maintain IT resources Document and troubleshooting applications and computers Troubleshooting, setup, repairing, and upgrading iPhone models 5SE through X Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one to three months of related experience and/or training A combination of education and experience may be considered Proficient in Office 365 - specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, Spiceworks Helpdesk Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality Demonstrated attention to detail and timeliness of deadlines Demonstrated interpersonal skills when communicating with subcontractor representatives, customers, co-workers, ownership, and/or incoming telephone calls Demonstrated use of time efficiently & remains flexible with frequent changes, delays, unexpected events, and/or changes in priority as well as many project-specific details Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience OSHA or other relevant safety certificates Relevant experience within heavy civil and highway construction, heavy industry/manufacturing, or mining Physical Demands Frequently required to Sit Talk and hear Occasionally required to Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Reach with hands and arms Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision requirements include Close Distance Color Peripheral Depth perception Ability to adjust focus Work Environment Noise level is usually moderate The H&K Group, Inc. provides complete heavy civil contracting and construction materials solutions with safety, speed, quality, efficiency, and value.
