Responsibilities Carefully package cannabis products according to company specifications and regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Operate packaging machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to facilitate smooth production flow. Use hand tools and assembly techniques to prepare products for shipment, maintaining high quality standards. Follow FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure compliance during all packaging processes. Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines and mechanical equipment, performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper storage procedures. Assist with inventory management, including tracking materials and finished goods in the warehouse system. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred, especially within the packaging or cannabis industry. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are highly advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues. Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated packaging machinery. Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and industry-specific compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for handling assembly tasks accurately.
