Job Description:
Are you a packaging design expert who knows how to bring products to life on the shelf? We're looking for a creative and detail-driven Packaging Designer to shape compelling packaging across a diverse portfolio of consumer products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong design instincts with production expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ongoing Contract Onsite Torrance 3-5 years of Packaging Design Experience In this role, you'll guide packaging projects from early concept through final production, ensuring every piece is visually impactful, brand-consistent, and retail-ready. You'll collaborate across creative, product development, sourcing, and manufacturing teams while helping drive excellence in both execution and process. What you'll do: Lead the design and production of packaging artwork across multiple product categories. Translate brand standards into packaging that is visually strong, cohesive, and commercially effective. Partner with internal teams and freelance creatives to deliver high-quality work on time. Manage packaging workflows from concept, revisions, and proofing through final release. Prepare pre-press files and production-ready artwork for domestic and international manufacturing. Work closely with cross-functional partners to maintain quality, color accuracy, and material integrity. Help improve file organization, processes, and best practices across packaging projects. Balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing deadlines and business needs.
What you bring:
3-5+ years of packaging design experience, including print production and packaging layout development. Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Deep understanding of packaging production, file prep, and visual hierarchy for retail environments. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-moving creative setting. Confidence collaborating with cross-functional teams and external production partners. Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for high-quality creative work. Bonus points for experience with 3D renders, AI-generated imagery, photography, or image retouching.
