Job Description

Summary:
This position is responsible for processing packaged products to expedite entry into the inventory system and movement to the required location in the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Tape product: stack on appropriate pallets based on destination of product. Verify Country of Origin, part number, UPC code, and quantities match case markings/labels. Create loads on WMS (Warehouse Management System), check for cross dock. Know stacking patterns for each reference size and stack appropriately. Maintain equipment. Work with Packaging Clerks to process re-batch and finalize incomplete orders. Notify Stager of product ready for put away operations. Generate labels and label products with bar code labels. Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area. Be actively involved in proactive measures towards safety for self and co-workers. Other job activities as assigned
Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work instructions or procedure manuals Math skills used add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to compute rate, ratio, and percentage Critical thinking skills necessary to solve practical problems Basic computer skills Ability to meet job expectations and duty changes as required by changing company needs

Pallet jack, scissor lifts, tape machine, box knife, computer Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE): Fully enclosed shoes
