MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Under general supervision position is responsible for maintaining operations of the Tofu packing boxes. Clean all equipment as scheduled.

• Packs finished product and places into appropriate boxes.
• Keep production and packing area cleaned and organized as needed.
• Complies with all lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Completes janitorial duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead
• Report and document any equipment/process abnormalities.
• Adheres to all Safety and GMP regulations.

Other duties or projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Effective communication skills
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to push and/or pull full tofu carts with over 70lbs.
• Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch, climb stairs, and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in driving forklift preferred but not required.
