Description This position is hourly in the plant facility. The position is responsible for packaging by hand a wide variety of products and materials while ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness of all job functions. Possible promotion to machine operator! Shift 1st shift M-F 6am-4:30pm (50 hours) Voluntary Saturdays Requirements Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Counts, measures, and weighs materials and products
• Removes defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling
• Constructs and seals boxes using hand tape gun
• Examines containers/boxes, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met
• Applies labels to containers, bags, boxes or products
• Enters packing, order and product information into inventory system or other documents
• Stacks boxes on pallets
• Always organizes work center for orderliness
• Willingness to share new ideas to make processes better
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Regular attendance is required
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, responsible, dependable at fulfilling obligations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans
• Ability to assess products for quality compliance
• Good time management skills
• Basic computer and math skills

Pay:

From $16.50 per hour
