Job Description

Paint Associate Manufacturing/Production Fountain Inn , SC Start your new career as a Paint Associate with MAU at Bosch Rexroth in Fountain Inn, SC. As a Paint Associate, you will prepare hydraulic pumps and motors to exact specifications for finish painting. What We Offer $19.00 per hour 1st shift, 6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM 2nd shift, 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM 3rd shift, 10:00 PM
  • 6:30 AM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services 401k Paid holidays Referral program What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Previous finishing experience in an industrial or automotive environment Knowledge of explosion proof requirements of all equipment in the paint building Ability to work in a noisy environment and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to crouch, kneel, squat, twist, stand, walk, climb, balance, grip, grasp, carry, and push/pull Ability to lift 26•50 pounds What You'll Do as a Paint Associate Prepare necessary prior to painting conventional, electrostatic, and cup gun Identify order specifications, washing, loading, and masking requirements Demonstrate understanding of the following prep-for-paint techniques: surface preparation for paint; surface preparation for paint; blueprint/drawing reading for masking requirements; barrier/full masking for paint application; unmasking, loading, and unloading of units prior/post paint Read and understand SDS sheets as well as application data sheets on all paint supplies Read and understand technical materials used in the painting field Maintain level of work performance in accordance with production deadline specifications Maintain, repair, assemble, and test any equipment associates with painting; perform preventative maintenance and repairs to tools used in the painting field Diagnose problems with any portion of a painted product and repair as needed Ensure high quality products with visual quality check Complete appropriate paperwork/log books Operate phosphate wash cleaning system for pumps and motors when called upon Operate electrical functions of pump washer Change out and clean water in the pump washer Work with pneumatic tools Perform other tasks as assigned
