Paint Department-Full Time

Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends.

Primary Job Functions:

Mix paint Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice Maintain the paint counter and aisles on a daily basis Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials used in the painting industry Knowledge in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces Knowledge in estimating time and material requirements for work projects Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)

Secondary Job Functions:

Help load merchandise for customers Help check in freight Cleaning and stocking merchandise Ordering merchandise Updating prices Answer telephone

Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred Retail experience, paint experience, and a painter is a plus Ability and willingness to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to operate office machines, computers, Excel is a plus Knowledge of merchandise Self-motivated Organized Good physical condition for lifting
