We do it all here—from insurance work to fleet work for multiple different entities, and we restore cars too. We are growing by the day! In this energetic role, you will prepare vehicles for painting by meticulously cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces to ensure flawless finishes. Your attention to detail will set the stage for high-quality auto body repairs and paint jobs. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with your hands, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your skills in auto restoration, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repair. Duties Thoroughly clean and sand vehicle surfaces to create an optimal base for painting. Mask off areas to protect trim, glass, and other components during paint application. Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint sprayers to prepare vehicles efficiently. Assist with minor auto body repairs, including dent removal and surface smoothing. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Collaborate with the painting team to ensure vehicles are prepped accurately for flawless finishes. Perform color sand and buffing procedures. Requirements Automotive repair background is highly preferred. Solid knowledge of auto body repair techniques, auto painting, and detailing processes. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, buffing equipment, and airless paint sprayers. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
