//parkplacesign.com/about-us/careers/ Job Description The Paint Technician is a full-time, entry level position. The primary function of the position is to prepare materials and apply finish paint to signs and miscellaneous parts. Previous finish painting in the auto body or industrial paint industry would be helpful but Park Place will provide on-the-job training for the right individual. A typical work shift is 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with morning & afternoon breaks. Lunch period is a half hour in length. Some daily overtime may be required with an occasional Saturday shift based upon the needs of our production schedule. Responsibilities and Duties

• Prep and finish paint materials.
• Load and unload parts as needed
• Accurately mix paint from provided formulas and assure that adjustments are made to achieve accurate matches to provided samples.
• Assure that signs are completely painted (including edges) and that paint finish has the correct sheen level, correct thickness of paint and no dirt in finish.
• Clean work area and paint booth as needed Qualifications and Skills
• The ability to report on time each day and be ready to work
• The ability to report to work 5 days a week and work overtime as needed
• The ability to work occasional Saturdays (Park Place relies on our employees to meet our scheduled delivery dates to our customers. If you have had attendance issues while employed at other firms, this job is not for you.)
• Basic computer skills and a good attention to details
• A background check and drug screening will be required before hiring
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
