Job details Summary Spherion $18.50 - $20.00 per hour Temporary 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_174798 Job details Responsible for accurately preparing and mixing paints and coatings for various industrial applications. This role involves maintaining and repairing paint equipment, such as guns and hoses, to ensure production meets customer specifications under the direction of the Chemical Process & Waste Operator.

...Equipment Maintenance:
Clean, repair, and rebuild paint guns, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all paint-related equipment.Mixing & Preparation:
Accurately measure and mix paint formulations using precision instruments and prepare them for industrial application.Inventory & Supplies:
Order and maintain an inventory of parts for paint guns, pressure pots, and related materials.Quality & Testing:
Conduct tests on paint guns and mixed paints to ensure proper working condition and consistency.Material Handling:
Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment to ensure the proper movement and storage of raw materials and finished products.Safety & Housekeeping:
Maintain cleanliness in mixing rooms and storage areas in compliance with safety standards.Working hours:
5:00 AM - 4:00PM Skills:
Experience:
Prior experience in industrial painting, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.Mechanical Aptitude:
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments like calipers or micrometers.Equipment Certification:
Ability to operate forklifts safely, with certification preferred.Process Knowledge:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
Technical Knowledge:
Must understand the proper operation of spray guns, paint pots, and spray booths.Safety Requirements:
Must be able to wear a respirator when painting.Mathematical Skills:
Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally while bending, stooping, or standing.Soft Skills:
Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work against strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility:
