This role involves applying high-quality finishes to various products and components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and precise specifications. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in industrial painting, fabrication, and materials handling within a dynamic team setting.
Salary Range:
$20.00 To $27.00 Hourly 2nd
Shift :
3:30PM - 12:00AM Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Painter is responsible for coating surface parts, assembling and finishing products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope or stain using spray gun.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Determines and selects correct mixes of coating material. Applies paint to parts as directed by job orders. Identifies and coats areas that are inaccessible to hand sprayer. Identifies problems with equipment and will troubleshoot or repair paint guns. Responsible for running ovens as needed. Will complete visual inspection of masking on parts to ensure consistency as well as inspect for damaged product. Completes necessary paperwork. Works closely with the production team and assist as needed. Adheres to safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Ability to communicate, read, and understand English. Basic math skills. Experience using and troubleshooting gravity spray gun. Previous experience in aerospace industry or automotive repair, a plus. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members at all levels in the organization.
ITAR REQUIREMENT
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
