Voorhees, NJ and surrounding areas (within a 20-minute drive) Professional Painting Services is a growing property management company seeking a reliable, experienced Painter to join our team. This is a stable, year-round position with consistent work across our local portfolio of residential and commercial properties. Position Overview You will perform high-quality interior painting in apartments and common areas. Most units are vacant during painting, with occasional occupied units. You will typically work independently, with occasional support from a small crew on larger projects. Work at heights using ladders or scaffolding is only occasionally required. This position is primarily focused on painting work. However, because we are a property management company, there may occasionally be opportunities to assist with light maintenance-related tasks. Maintenance experience is not required. Schedule & Work Environment We offer a flexible work environment focused on getting the job done correctly rather than micromanaging schedules. Start and finish times may vary depending on workload, property schedules, and project needs. Some days may be longer while others may end earlier. This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage their time responsibly, and consistently produce quality work without direct supervision. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly, including sanding, patching, and cleaning Select and apply the appropriate primers for different surfaces and conditions Caulk and seal gaps neatly and professionally Cut in straight, clean lines using a brush Roll walls, ceilings, and trim efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Maintain clean and safe job sites Complete work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality Requirements Ability to work independently without direct supervision Professional painting experience required (residential or multi-family experience preferred) Strong understanding of surface prep, caulking, priming, and finishing techniques Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required Ability to travel between local job sites during the workday Ability to work at heights when needed (infrequent) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional Must have your own painting tools and basic equipment. Materials & Equipment Provided We provide all paint, caulk, tape, roller covers, and disposable painting materials, along with an area to wash equipment. Additional Skills (Preferred, Not Required) Skills in areas such as basic carpentry, electrical, drywall, apartment maintenance, or spray painting are considered a plus. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities over time to grow into a hybrid painting/maintenance role if interested.
