Painter Helper

In this role, you will support experienced painters by preparing surfaces, handling tools, and assisting with various painting and finishing tasks. Duties Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, and cleaning walls or surfaces prior to painting Mix paints and primers accurately using basic math skills and color theory knowledge Handle hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and caulking guns to support painting tasks Support with the application of paint using airless paint spraying equipment under supervision Prepare work areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures for protection during painting or restoration work Assist with the installation of fixtures, trim carpentry, and other finishing details like stucco or masonry work Maintain a clean and organized work site by disposing of debris and storing tools properly Experience Previous experience on construction sites or in renovation projects is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, or industrial painting is a plus Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, welding, or concrete finishing is beneficial Knowledge of color theory, plastering, caulking, restoration techniques, and fixture installation enhances your candidacy Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites is important for maintaining a secure work environment Join us if you're eager to grow your skills in construction painting while contributing to exciting projects.
