Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter / Laborer to join our dynamic and busy construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, bringing spaces to life through expert painting and skilled labor. The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to high-quality renovation and restoration projects. This position provides a rewarding environment where your efforts directly impact the transformation of spaces. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer as needed Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and spray guns Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting plans for residential, commercial, or industrial projects Perform demolition work, framing, trim carpentry, masonry, stucco application, and fixture installation when required Assist with construction estimating tasks by measuring spaces and calculating material needs for projects Operate construction equipment including concrete finishers, welding tools, scaffolding, and basic hand tools safely and efficiently Support renovation efforts by performing drywall installation, plastering, masonry repairs, and general maintenance tasks on-site Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials Qualifications Prior experience in construction painting or general labor roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety procedures on construction sites Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations Experience with residential or commercial painting techniques including airless spray painting and surface preparation Skills in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work or restoration projects are a plus Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders/scaffolding, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; dependable with a positive attitude Valid driver's license may be required depending on project locations Join our team to build beautiful spaces while developing your skills in construction painting and labor!
