Dalton Ag is a brand forged in America's heartland and proud to be the premier fertilizer application equipment manufacturer since 1996. As a paint/powder coating technician, you will be responsible for sanding, masking, and cleaning parts in preparation for powder coating operations. Technician is also responsible for performing sand-blasting and powder-coating techniques following written and verbal instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare sandblasting, paint, or powder coating metal parts by sanding, masking, and cleaning Complete sand-blasting and powder coat operations within a given time frame and according to written and verbal specifications. Inspect components during and after processing to ensure quality standards. Assist in maintenance, cleaning, and repair of equipment as assigned. Keep all work areas, including the staging area, clean and organized Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment Load and unload the blast cabinet Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed Ability to learn procedures, tasks, and operations through on-site training from a senior member of the staff. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Ability to maintain consistent attendance. Ability to maintain consistent quality of work performed.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High school diploma or General education degree 1 or more years of manufacturing experience preferred Basic computer skills Ability to read, write and use basic math skills Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow precise instructions Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and across departmentsPhysical Expectations:
