PANEL BUILDER / MACHINE TOOL ELECTRICIAN

We are hiring an experienced Panel Builder / Machine Tool Electrician to join our team. Complete Automation is one team, creating complete solutions for our customers. The Panel Builder / Machine Tool Electrician will be responsible for: Layout and wire panels from electrical schematics and blue prints. Layout and mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, switches, PLCs, and terminal blocks, etc. onto panel back plates or enclosures. Wire control panels using standard electrical practices and wiring diagrams. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve assembly issues and improve panel designs. Conducts, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical / electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of electrical / electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Must have panel build experience, panel layouts and electrical components. Must be able to read electrical schematics and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) Strong understanding of electrical components and wiring technique. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with machine tool wiring and conduit installations. 5-10 years experience. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. This job involves lots of bending, stooping, and constantly working while on your feet. Familiar with the NEC is a plus. Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens is a plus.
