Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting students in an educational setting as a paraprofessional! This contract opportunity allows you to make a genuine impact, assisting educators and providing individualized attention to students who benefit from a little extra support. Located near Roselle, IL, this position puts you at the heart of a vibrant school community dedicated to helping every learner thrive. Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or similar support role Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, adaptability, and a caring approach to working with children High school diploma or equivalent required; paraeducator certification preferred but not mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and student support Work individually or in small groups with students needing additional guidance Help maintain an inclusive, welcoming classroom environment Support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Participate in meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture This contract position offers the chance to build your own experience in education while making a significant difference in students' lives.
