Join Our Team - Paralegal Opportunity at Mason Law & Planning Group Are you an organized, proactive, and client-focused professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the legal world? Mason Law & Planning Group , a forward-thinking estate planning law firm, is seeking a dedicated and detail-driven Paralegal to join our growing team. You'll work closely with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and clients to deliver personalized, thoughtful legal support that helps families plan confidently for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and mail to coordinate meetings, answer basic inquiries, and guide them through the estate planning process. Liaise with financial advisors, accountants, and insurance professionals.
Trust Funding Support:
Prepare funding documents and assist in retitling assets into trusts to ensure proper alignment with clients' estate plans.
Meeting Coordination & Support:
Prepare files and materials for meetings (both in-person and virtual), attend sessions, take detailed notes, assist with plan review, and notarize documents.
Project Management:
Prioritize and manage multiple active projects, track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure smooth communication across the team.
Document Management:
Print, organize, tab, scan, and file legal documents. Maintain digital records using our legal practice management systems.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively suggest ways to enhance internal processes, improve client experience, and boost overall efficiency.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide cross-functional support throughout the firm during busy periods or special initiatives — collaboration is key to our culture!
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, ideally within Estate Planning, Business Planning, Probate, or Trust Administration . Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional communication skills (written and verbal). Proficient in legal document preparation and digital document management. Strong time management and problem-solving abilities. Professional presence and presentation.

Schedule:
M-F, 8:30 -5:00 with occasional overtime for events or travel
Travel:
Limited in-state travel required, approximately three times per month
