Job Description

Fathers & Families Support Center Position Title:

Director, Coordinator, Lead Attorney Direct Reports:
N/A Description of this role: This position is responsible for assisting with legal advocacy for Fathers & Families Support Center clients. Prepare legal documents and prepare for legal proceedings. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities - includes the following and other related duties may be assigned. Advise clients on their rights and obligations concerning divorce, custody, paternity, non-paternity, and/or child support cases. . Prepare, organize, and maintain legal correspondence and documentation. Accurately prepare and/or update correspondence, reports, presentations, or other information including routine letters, memos, and legal documents. Provide legal advice to clients in the areas of domestic relations. Travel to multiple locations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Legal experience in domestic relations. Previous experience in legal services and/or demonstrated commitment to public interest law. Ability to provide services to disadvantaged or disabled individuals strongly preferred. Must have excellent writing skills and be proficient with computers. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Energetic and committed to public service law mission. Good communication skills to include public speaking.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience. Must possess a valid Missouri driver's license and have a reliable, insured vehicle.
