Paramedic

NOVA is seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical team. As a Paramedic, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency medical care to our community. Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured. Assess the patient's condition and implement appropriate treatment plans according to established protocols. Perform advanced life support procedures, including airway management, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as EMTs, nurses, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Safely operate emergency vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and organizational policies. Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain certification and enhance skills.

Qualifications:

Current PA certification as a Paramedic. ACLS, PALS and CPR certifications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of local EMS protocols and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
