Overview Join our dynamic emergency medical team as a Paramedic, where your expertise will be vital in delivering exceptional pre-hospital care to those in need. Duties Deliver comprehensive emergency medical services in diverse environments, including accident scenes, hospitals, and transport vehicles. Perform detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiology evaluations to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses. Manage airways effectively through airway management techniques and administer oxygen therapy to stabilize patients. Execute critical care procedures such as venipuncture, medication administration, injection techniques, and aseptic techniques with precision. Operate emergency medical equipment (DME) safely and efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to protocols. Conduct triage at the scene or within hospital settings to prioritize patient care based on injury severity and medical urgency. Drive emergency response vehicles responsibly, demonstrating excellent driving skills while managing heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks during patient extrication or equipment setup. Communicate clearly with hospital staff, emergency responders, and patients to ensure seamless care transitions and accurate documentation of all interventions. Experience Proven experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings, including hospital experience at Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers. Demonstrated proficiency in patient care procedures such as vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and anatomy knowledge. Critical care transport experience is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to handle complex cases under pressure. Strong background in airway management techniques and basic life support (BLS), with additional certifications preferred (e.g., Advanced Cardiac Life Support). Familiarity with medical terminology, venipuncture procedures, medication administration protocols, and injection techniques. Prior EMT experience combined with a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy enhances your readiness for this role. Ability to perform under stressful situations with excellent decision-making skills while maintaining professionalism and compassion. $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
