Job Description:

Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols. Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines. Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols. Manages ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) during transport. Administers approved medications and narcotics consistent with EMS medical protocols. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

AssociateAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)

• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support
• CPR Cert (BLS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body, Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body, Driver's License (DL)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Paramedic (PARA)
