Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic emergency medical team as a Paramedic, EMT-Basic, AEMT, EMR in Erick, Oklahoma. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional pre-hospital care to patients in urgent and critical situations, ensuring their safety and well-being from the scene of an incident to hospital transfer. Your expertise in emergency medicine, patient assessment, airway management, and critical care transport will make a real difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care to patients at the scene of incidents and during transport, including airway management, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring in a rural setting. Conduct thorough patient assessments using physiology knowledge and medical terminology to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses. Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to all driving regulations; handle heavy lifting and physical exertion during patient handling. Triage patients efficiently at emergency scenes or hospital settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers, prioritizing care based on urgency. Collaborate with hospital staff during critical care transfers, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care reports, vital signs, medication administration records, and incident logs in compliance with healthcare standards. Experience Prior experience is a bonus, but not required Licensure required, compact licensure acceptable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and urgent care scenarios. Pay:
$10.50 - $21.00 per hour
