Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students by working as a paraprofessional in a dynamic educational setting near Jaffrey, NH. This contract position offers the chance to work one-on-one with a student enrolled in a life skills program, providing both academic assistance and essential daily living support. In this role, you will work Monday through Friday from 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m., beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2026. The position is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to empower students in their academic and personal development journeys. Candidates with paraprofessional experience are encouraged to apply. Those with LNA/CNA credentials will also be considered.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct academic support tailored to the student's needs Assisting with positioning and implementing a daily toileting plan as part of the student's care Collaborating with special education staff and therapists to reinforce life skills Maintaining documentation on progress and daily routines as required Providing encouragement and patience to help the student reach their goals Preferred qualifications: Experience working with children or youth with special needs in a school or life skills program Paraprofessional certification, or LNA/CNA credentials Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Understanding of individualized care and sensitivity to personal routines Embark on a role where every day brings an opportunity to change lives and build professional skills in a supportive environment.
