Day Shift | 5x6 Hours (07:30 AM - 03:30 PM) Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to provide individualized, one-on-one support to a high-needs student within a structured school environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, strong behavioral support skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff to promote a safe and productive learning experience. Key Responsibilities Provide direct one-on-one support to a high-needs student Assist with implementing behavioral intervention strategies and classroom management techniques Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and/or behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed Monitor, track, and document student progress and behavior Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment Assist with classroom activities, routines, and transitions Required Qualifications Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Technician, or similar role in a school setting Strong behavioral management and communication skills Ability to work effectively with students requiring additional support Updated resume required Completion of Paraprofessional Skills Checklist required Preferred Qualifications Experience working with high-needs or special education students Familiarity with IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
