Job Description
OBJECTIVE
The Park Manager is responsible for overseeing daily park operations and supervising team member performance to ensure a safe, efficient, and guest-focused environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests and employees, ensuring exceptional service, resolving concerns, and maintaining operational excellence. The Park Manager ensures guests have an outstanding and safe experience while maintaining compliance with company standards and procedures. This position requires regular interaction with families and children of all ages.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet guests promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Supervise team members to ensure job duties are performed satisfactorily and productivity goals are achieved. Create and audit weekly schedules, attendance records, and timekeeping systems. Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates for park positions. Handle employee relations matters including documentation of statements, resignations, terminations, and job abandonment cases. Conduct performance evaluations and park operational assessments. Train team members on job responsibilities, safety standards, and service expectations. Open and close the park using designated security procedures. Communicate guest or employee concerns through proper company channels. Oversee guest check-in procedures, including liability waivers and collection of guest information via tablet/iPad systems. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, accurately process transactions (cash and card), manage cash flow, and reconcile daily receipts. Verify billing accuracy and ensure proper transaction processing. Manage concession inventory including drinks, snacks, and frozen items. Coordinate and oversee birthday parties and special events to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage third-party vendor relationships, supplies, and orders. Monitor snack inventory levels and place replenishment orders with approved vendors. Conduct regular floor walks to ensure safety standards are maintained and park rules are followed. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, tables, chairs, and play structures. Assist with scheduling and coordinating family events and ensuring smooth execution. Participate in weekly operational meetings. Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and inventory quantities. Communicate with suppliers and third-party vendors as needed. Support time and attendance system setup and maintenance. Assist with operational communications and internal support channels. Perform additional duties as assigned.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for extended periods. Frequent bilateral hand movement and finger dexterity. Ability to work in a high-noise environment (children, music, guest activity). Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment. Ability to work within structured spaces and high-traffic areas.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Availability to work weekends and holidays. Comfortable working with children and families. Proficient in using tablets/iPads and POS systems. Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to read and write in English.Job Type:
