Parking Ambassador Attendant - PT evenings & weekends

Valet Park of America Seeking Parking Ambassador in Waterbury, CT Looking for a part-time work in addition to another job or school? Are you customer service friendly? Do you like the outdoors? If so then Valet Park of America is looking for you to work and become part of our growing team. We are hiring staff in Waterbury to work as a Parking Ambassador at a busy medical entrance. The ideal applicant will be available for two evening shifts 4pm-8:30pm during the week, and some weekends. We would like staff to have the flexibility to help with other shifts as well.

Pay:

Scholarship Opportunities General purpose - The primary purpose of this position is to greet and assist customers with parking, and be a visible representative of the establishment we provide services for. The Parking Ambassador will ensure the entrance lane to the hospital is kept clear of vehicles to allow emergency access. The Ambassador will direct incoming vehicles to available parking, and report any issues or suspicious behavior to Security. Physical Demands Standing for the duration of your shift Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers' vehicles) Communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers Work environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees' work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
