Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Part Marking Operator- 1st Shift at our Auburn, CA/Vian Enterprises location. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm.

To ensure proper marking and lapping of product for Crane Aerospace.Essential Functions:
Fill requirements for parts promptly and accurately as required. Report defective material and shortages and post receipts with withdrawals. Mark and/or identify parts using various methods (Trumpf laser machine) to blueprints and specifications. Responsible for moving work in process between workstations and departments. Clean and move parts as necessary. Keep charts and records as required on completed sequences and processes. Rotate to different workstations within the department. Document all non-conformances through specified data collection procedures. Inspect work and verify that product meets all appropriate standards at each operational step. Complete all required paperwork. Ensure all material is properly cleaned, identified, protected, and stacked prior to movement. Work with internal and external customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities as required. Complete all required documentation including but not limited to operator inspection records, job routers, NCR's, reject tags, move tickets, and stock tickets. Perform other duties as assigned by department supervisor. Utilize computer to access various databases.Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
1-3 years of light manufacturing experience and experience operating part marking laser (Trumpf)Knowledge:
Requires basic math skills to make necessary calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and percentages. Must have basic reading skillsSkills/Abilities:
Requires the ability to read and comprehend coded requirements for military packaging along with various requirements for export documents of aftermarket sales Simple and fine grasping of smaller parts such as screws, nuts and bolts Firm grasping and manipulation of heavy parts such as castings, barstock and packaging materials Basic use of computer terminals and laser machine (Trumpf) Lapping experience highly preferred Must be able to work assorted hand tools Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, and manufacturing outlines.Education/Certification:

Salary range:
$23.95 - $31.53. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
