Part Time Accounts Payable Specialist

00 per hour The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing and managing company invoices and payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Key duties include reviewing and verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, coding and posting transactions, and preparing weekly check runs.

Requirements:

• 3 Years Experience (minimum)
• Good organization and time management, detailed, reliable.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, good judgement.
• Experience with ERP software systems a plus, but not a requirement.
• Knowledge of MSOffice software packages, esp. Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping (Associates Degree in Accounting)
• chart of accounts, basic debit/credit entry, accruals, deferrals, understanding of AP match for receiving PO invoices.
