Job Description

Part-Time Administrative Operations Coordinator (20 Hours/Week) PDS is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Part-Time Administrative Operations Coordinator to support operational, organizational, and business support activities at our office in Southbury. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure and organization to fast-moving environments and takes pride in producing professional, and well-organized work. The position requires strong communication skills, solid experience with business tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to effectively leverage AI tools and modern technology to improve efficiency and support operational activities across the organization. This is a fully in-office position. No remote or hybrid work is available. Schedule 20 hours per week; Monday-Friday Consistent daily schedule required — five (5) days per week (8:30 AM-12:30 PM or 9:00 AM-1:00 PM) Responsibilities Transform documents, rough drafts, notes, and source materials into polished and well-organized documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations Assist with project coordination, follow-ups, scheduling, communication, and general operational support activities to help keep initiatives and day-to-day operations organized and moving forward Maintain organized digital filing systems and support reporting, data organization, and document management activities Assist with additional operational, organizational, and office support responsibilities as needed Qualifications Strong experience creating and refining professional presentations, documents, spreadsheets, and communications using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with the initiative and ability to quickly learn and leverage features in Office and other tools Experience improving organization, document quality, research, and productivity using existing skills and AI tools such as OpenAI ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. Proven experience supporting office operations, business coordination, or administrative functions in a professional environment Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-moving environment Compensation $24.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
