Part Time Aircraft Fueling & Ramp Support

Rocky Mount Wilson Airport is looking for a dedicated FBO Line Technician to support aircraft handling operations, deliver excellent customer service, and perform general labor functions at the Rocky Mount-Wilson Regional Airport. This role includes, but is not limited to, aircraft handling, refueling, detailing, and assisting customers.

Responsibilities:

Operate Ground Service Equipment Marshal Aircraft on the Terminal and General Aviation Aprons Fueling Aircraft and operating the fueling terminal Monitor Fuel Levels and maintain fuel inventories in trucks and fueling terminal Perform aircraft washing, waxing, vacuuming and detailing Performing mechanical repairs on operational equipment Oversee general maintenance of airport terminal area including landscaping and grass cutting Provide assistance to customers, vendors, pilots, crew and passengers as needed. Perform other related duties as directed by the Airport Director and the FBO manager

Requirements:

Must be a High School graduate or possess a valid GED A sound knowledge in basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing principles Basic aviation knowledge (able to identify aircraft types and communicate with pilots) Strong customer service skills and professional attitude Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs Comfortable with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays Valid driver's license required Previous aviation, line service, or airport experience preferred but not required (training provided) Ability to complete and pass a 40-hour training certification courses in fire safety, with regular annual recertification training required thereafter Ability to recognize and solve problems independently.
