Job Description

Applied Behavioral Learning Services, a leading provider of behavior analytic intervention for children with Autism and their families, is seeking part time Behavior Technicians to provide home and center based services. ABLS has been selected by the Boston Parents Paper as Family Favorite for
NINE CONSECUTIVE YEARS!
Hours:
3-6 PM or Weekends Most importantly, you will be part of a dedicated team that loves ABA! Behavior Technicians provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to a variety of children with autism and related disorders. To this end, all employees are expected to maintain a positive attitude and show enthusiasm at work every day while implementing programs developed by the supervising BCBA. Behavior Technicians are expected to provide support in crisis situations, consistently implementing predetermined behavioral strategies in order to ensure student safety. Behavior Technicians must be able to run and lift 50 pounds. Behavior Technicians are expected to receive feedback in a professional manner and work independently with initial direction. They may accompany assigned students across environments (e.g., home and community) while implementing behavioral objectives. They also may work with other specialists and/or parents to implement additional specified goals and objectives. In addition to direct care services, Behavior Technicians are expected to complete administrative and clerical tasks, including but not limited to, program development and tasks assigned by supervisors and directors as needed. They will also be required to adhere to all policies and procedures as laid out in the Employee Handbook.
