Job Description

About us At Branford Dental Care, our mission is to provide a personalized, comprehensive dental home with efficiency and a smile. We offer state-of-the-art dental care in a comfortable and caring atmosphere where you and your family will feel right at home. To aid us in our mission, we are looking for a Part-Time Business Assistant.
Purpose:
As the Business Assistant, you will report directly to the Business Manager, providing essential support based on the needs of the practice, offering valuable assistance whether the tasks are routine or part of a larger project. You will collaborate with other leaders in the office and coordinate key initiatives as well as work on weekly, monthly and quarterly auditing procedures.
Requirements for the job:
  • Computer skills- must be proficient in Excel and with current AI software.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize assignments. Most time will be spent independently.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in the dental field. Experience with Eaglesoft preferred. Must know how to decipher patient balances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must enjoy being a team player, supporting the office and improving systems while being in the background.
Job responsibilities include:
    Block Maintenance:
    Maintaining our production block scheduling for both the hygiene schedule and the doctor schedule, as well as all meeting blocks.
      Schedule Auditing:
      Reaching out to patients who are no longer in network and who need extra confirmation reminders.
        Overdue Account Audits:
        Auditing accounts for overdue balances, deciphering patient balances, submitting accounts to collection agency as needed.
          Proposed Treatment Audits:
          Auditing the schedule for case acceptance. Tracking by provider and treatment plan coordinator and providing key analytics on performance metrics. Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
            Hygiene Audits:
            Auditing the hygiene team on key performance indicators and preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. This is not an entry level position. If you have the

            $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
