Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed for stocking purposes.
