Job Description

Job Summary The Community Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of a charming residential townhome community, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction among residents. This position involves managing property leasing, addressing tenant concerns, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the community. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for all residents. We are seeking an individual to work 5-10 hours per week, with compensation available either as an hourly wage or as rental credit toward a townhome within the community. Flexible schedule if needed. Duties Oversee property management functions including leasing, application process, preparing homes for new move-in, scheduling vendors and more. Conduct data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of tenant information and property details - completing rent ledgers is an example. Manage conflict resolution effectively to address resident concerns and maintain community harmony. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating strong phone etiquette. Collaborate with maintenance vendor to ensure timely response to repair requests and upkeep of common areas. Organize community events to foster resident engagement and enhance the living experience. Qualifications Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong skills in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. A positive approach is a great beginning to all tasks. Excellent conflict management abilities to handle resident disputes professionally. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards residents and prospective tenants. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
