Part-time Custodian

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated part-time custodian to join our team at Freedom Global Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper procedures
• Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events as needed
• Notify management of any repairs required
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Excellent time management skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours if needed

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Buffing experience
• Floor care expertise
• Facilities maintenance knowledge
