Part-Time (Average 15 hours per week; occasional 8-hour days as required) Position Summary American National Bank of Minnesota is seeking a dedicated and professional Part-Time Customer Service Representative / Teller for our Walker branch location. Since 1983, our institution has been committed to raising the standard of banking services for our customers and community. This frontline role acts as the primary point of contact for our clients, executing financial transactions accurately, maintaining a secure cash drawer, and providing exceptional service in alignment with organizational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transaction Processing:

Efficiently and accurately process routine financial transactions, including checking and savings deposits, withdrawals, verification of endorsements, and loan payments.

Cash Management:

Maintain daily responsibility for a cash drawer, including counting, packaging currency, and performing end-of-day balancing procedures in compliance with regulatory and bank standards.

Client Relations:

Respond to customer inquiries regarding account histories, account balances, and banking services with a professional and helpful demeanor.

Operations Support:

Manage inbound multi-line telephone communications, routing calls appropriately, and assisting in other operational areas of the financial center as needed.

Compliance & Risk Control:

Uphold customer confidentiality protocols and comply with operational, security, and internal regulatory guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Competencies Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Skills:

Excellent verbal communication, basic mathematical aptitude, and general computer proficiency.

Attributes:

Outgoing, client-focused personality with a strong team commitment and a proactive willingness to learn.

Experience:

Prior experience in cash handling or retail customer service is required; previous banking industry experience is highly desirable but not required.
