Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of dogs of all sizes, ages & breeds in our facility. You will work closely with dogs, ensuring they receive proper attention, exercise, and hygiene. This position requires ability to pay attention to details, physical ability to do all aspects of the job and a team-centered attitude. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs of all sizes, ages & breeds, including feeding/meds, basic grooming, and exercising & enrichment. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals & communicate with team members. Assist with grooming & reception duties as needed. Engage with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and updates on their pets' well-being. Handle heavy lifting & handling of dogs and equipment. Operate Pet Taxi as needed for pick-ups, drop-offs and other tasks. Complete continuing education. Required Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience as a kennel tech, vet tech or in dog training. (Required) Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and other team members. (Required) Ability to perform heavy lifting, handling and maintain physical stamina throughout shifts. This includes running multiple play groups & nature walks. (Required) Must be a team player and support a positive culture. (Required) Safe driving. Must drive, be 21+ with a VALID Driver's License & a clean driving record.
