Duties Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring animal health Operate farm machinery such as tractors, irrigation systems, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively Perform equipment repairs and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge Support planting, harvesting, greenhouse management, and crop growing activities utilizing horticulture skills Manage heavy lifting tasks and operate forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed for loading or moving supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm facilities, including barns, greenhouses, and storage areas Monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for crops and plants Requirements Prior experience supervising or leading small teams is preferred but not required Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair or maintenance Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and animal handling techniques Ability to operate forklifts and heavy machinery safely; certification is a plus Experience with farming operations such as planting, harvesting, greenhouse management, or horticulture Familiarity with irrigation systems and general farm maintenance procedures Capable of performing physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in varying weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feed rations Strong attention to safety protocols when working with power tools or welding equipment Join us in cultivating a thriving farm environment where your skills make a real difference!
