We are looking for dependable and safety-focused " Part-Time" Utility Operators who want to work "Flexible Schedules" to support day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for transporting raw materials, filling containers, and hand-packing products into cartons using proper tools and procedures. The ideal candidates will have experience operating industrial trucks such as forklifts and walk-behind powered equipment and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area is essential to success in this role. Essential Functions Transport raw materials into the facility using industrial truck (forklift) and manual material handling equipment Filling containers Open boxes and lift materials onto tables from the floor area weighing up to 50 pounds Hand pack product into cartons using appropriate tools Safely use walk behind powered industrial trucks Utilize best work practices and housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment Position Requirements Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment Ability to work with a platform scale Ability to perform simple math functions Ability to operate a pressure washer Ability to read and interpret instructions on various operating procedures Industrial truck (forklift) or equivalent manual material handling equipment experience Minimum of two (2) continuous years of recent work experience; manufacturing experience is preferred Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift Proficient in English language with reading, writing and speaking Qualifications Ability to pass a physical screen, respiratory screen, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted Ability to use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment (in extreme hot/cold environments) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
