Part-Time Hardscape Foreman Romeo, MI 48065 From $30 an hour - Part-time From $30 an hour - Part-time Greenbriar Landscape is seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Hardscape Foreman to help lead and grow our outdoor construction division. This role is ideal for someone looking to help build a growing small business while enjoying flexible scheduling and project-based opportunities. Work opportunities will vary throughout the season based on scheduled projects and client demand, meaning hours and schedules are not guaranteed or set in stone. As projects are booked, you will help lead installations focused on patios, walkways, retaining walls, decorative stonework, drainage solutions, and other outdoor living projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, professionalism, and helping build something long-term. Responsibilities Lead and supervise hardscape installation crews on active projects Assist with project planning, layout, and execution Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings Oversee excavation, grading, base prep, paver installation, retaining walls, drainage, and finishing work Operate construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain job site quality, organization, and safety standards Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients as needed Help train crew members and improve workflow efficiency Ensure projects are completed to Greenbriar Landscape standards Qualifications Prior hardscape or landscape construction experience required Leadership or foreman experience preferred Strong understanding of paver and retaining wall installation methods Ability to read layouts and work independently Comfortable operating skid steers, compact equipment, saws, and power tools Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required Position Details Part-time, flexible scheduling Hours vary based on project schedule and workload Opportunity to grow with the company as the division expands Competitive pay based on experience Hourly or flat-rate/project-based pay available depending on the project and experience level Potential for increased responsibilities and hours over time This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to help build a growing company from the ground up.
