Pay:

Competitive, based on experience and skill level Busy family in Troy seeking an extremely organized, proactive Household Assistant / House Manager to help create and maintain a calm, efficient, beautifully organized home. This role is ideal for someone who naturally sees what needs to be done, enjoys creating systems, and knows how to quickly organize closets, drawers, rooms, pantries, toys, household supplies, and seasonal items in a way that is both functional and visually clean. A strong eye for organization, home flow, and simple design is very important.

Responsibilities include:

Household laundry, including clothing, bedding, and towels Kitchen resets and light tidying Maintaining organization and cleanliness of refrigerators and pantries Grocery and household supply restocking Coordinating with cleaners to help ensure the home stays well-maintained and fully stocked Occasional deep cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and rugs Household inventory management Organizing closets, drawers, rooms, toys, and household systems Errands, returns, and miscellaneous household support Seasonal organization projects and home resets Assisting with holiday decorating and decor organization/storage Preparing a simple weekly meal plan/menu to help reduce stress on busy days Preparing 2-3 simple, healthy family meals weekly (examples: chicken breast, salads, basic healthy meals, and family favorites) We are looking for someone who can thoughtfully learn our household routines and systems, help refine and improve them over time, and become a reliable long-term support person within the home. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, follows through consistently, and takes pride in managing responsibilities thoroughly and proactively with minimal oversight once established in the role. The right person is fast-paced, dependable, self-directed, discreet, and able to reduce mental load by noticing and handling things proactively. Minimum 2 years of experience in household support, home organization, family assistant, house management, or similar work required.
