Working Title Part-Time Lecturer in Human Development & School Services Location Rio Grande Valley, Texas Division/Organization Provost - Academic Affairs Appointment Period for Non-Tenure Position Tenure Status Non Tenure Track FTE Varies Scope of Job We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a Part-Time Lecturer for the Department of Human Development and School Services in the 2025-2026 academic year. The Department of Human Development & School Services at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire non-tenure track, part-time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor's/ Master's/Doctoral Special Education, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Early Childhood programs beginning in the Fall, Spring and/or Summer semesters. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program.

Minimum Qualifications The qualifications to be considered as a non-tenure track, part-time lecturer are a master's or doctoral degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, School Psychology, Early Childhood, or a related field of study from an accredited institution. Discipline Specific Required Qualifications The successful applicant will have experience working with children with disabilities or early care/early childhood. Preferred Qualification Teaching experience is desirable, as well as the ability to use technology to support teaching and learning.
