Job Description

We are an early-stage maternal health startup focused on improving outcomes for postpartum patients through remote monitoring and proactive management of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. Our platform combines home blood pressure monitoring, patient engagement, and clinical escalation pathways to reduce maternal morbidity and prevent avoidable emergency visits and readmissions. Position Overview We are seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician to serve as Part-Time Medical Director. This role will provide clinical leadership for our remote postpartum hypertension monitoring program and help shape evidence-based workflows, escalation protocols, and quality initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for a physician interested in digital health, maternal health innovation, telemedicine, and startup leadership. Responsibilities Develop and oversee clinical protocols for postpartum hypertension and preeclampsia monitoring Define escalation pathways and emergency referral criteria Collaborate with product and operations teams on workflow design Review quality metrics, adverse events, and patient safety initiatives Support nursing and care coordination teams Ensure compliance with ACOG guidelines, HIPAA, and telehealth regulations Advise on RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) documentation and billing workflows Participate in periodic leadership and strategy meetings Qualifications MD or DO with Board Certification in OB/GYN Active unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state Experience managing hypertensive disorders of pregnancy Interest in digital health, maternal health innovation, or telemedicine Strong communication and collaborative skills Preferred Qualifications Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience Experience with remote patient monitoring programs Startup or healthcare technology experience Multi-state licensure What We Offer Flexible remote schedule Opportunity to shape a maternal health innovation platform Collaborative mission-driven team Competitive compensation Potential equity participation To Apply Please submit: CV/resume Short statement of interest Licensure information
