Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Term:
Immediate Start through August 2026
Pay:
$14-$16/hr About the Role A & E Rentals is looking for a reliable, professional, and organized Office Assistant to support our team during the busy summer season. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our clients receive top-tier service. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and enjoys a mix of customer interaction and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities Customer Communication:
Act as the "voice" of A & E Rentals by answering incoming phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, and providing information on rental equipment and availability.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Serve as backup for the rental calendar, schedule deliveries/pick-ups, and ensure the field team has accurate information for the day's tasks.
Administrative Support:
Assist with contract preparation, filing, data entry, and basic bookkeeping tasks to keep the office organized.
Problem Solving:
Handle customer concerns with a professional "can-do" attitude, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
Office Upkeep:
Ensure the office environment remains clean, professional, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications Experience:
Previous experience in an office, retail, or customer service environment is preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and the ability to quickly learn our scheduling/rental software.
Reliability:
Strong attendance record and the ability to commit to the Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule through August.
