reviews Part-time Tasks Must abide by all the policies and procedures in the company policy manual and all safety guidelines. Must wear all personal protection equipment that has been assigned to the particular area of production. Identify, sort, weigh, and stack metals based on type (ferrous vs. non-ferrous) Dismantle larger objects, such as vehicles Operate a forklift to handle metals and materials Participate in routing, counting and inspecting items; while loading and unloading trucks. Maintain a neat and orderly work place Maintain a safe work environment at all times Operate material handling equipment, including: forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies, to move stock or reorganize storage. Follow all directions given by Production Manager. Meet goals determined by upper management. Report any maintenance issues to Production Manager. Salvages reusable materials and disposes of waste as set by company procedures. Attaches labels to salvage waste and containers to identify product. Weighs materials and keeps proper paperwork for record keeping. General cleaning of work areas, bathroom, locker area, and other common area of production to also include refrigerator and trash cans. Clean and place bug dust down in oil spillage areas. Cut and weed eat grassy areas. Reports to Operations Director ( Ellen Mears ) only if there is no Production Director, Store GM, Production Manager, or Second Man. Last resort will be going to Owner ( Troy Webber Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
